Reducing the Gender Pay Gap
Reducing the gender pay gap is part of the Programme for Government. As part tackling this issue, the Department of Justice are currently inviting feedback on the following: - The factors creating the gender pay gap
- The actions that need to be taken
- How to implement these actions
One action proposed is: “Promote wage transparency by requiring companies of 50 or more employees to complete a wage survey periodically and report the results.” If your company employs more than 50 people we would very much like to hear your thoughts on above by end-week, which we will then feed back into the Department.
