Introduction to Chinese for Business Level 1 will provide participants with the fundamentals of the Chinese language, including meeting and greeting business colleagues, presenting and receiving a business card, Chinese business culture, and sending an email in Chinese.

Session 2: What do you want to drink? Pronunciation, oral practice, writing
Session 3: Names & Nationalities, pronunciation, oral practice, writing
Session 4: Introduce your colleague, present business card, pronunciation, oral practice, writing
Session 5: Where’s the meeting? Pronunciation, oral practice, writing
Session 6: Review all materials, pronunciation, oral practice, writing, Chinese tea etiquette
Session 7: Who is that? Sentence patterns and word substitution, oral practice, writing
Session 8: Introduce your company, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing
Session 9: Dates, days, months, year, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing
Session 10: Buying daily necessities, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing
Session 11: Getting a taxi, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing
Session 12: Go to the doctor, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing
Session 13: Renting an apartment/office, sentence patterns, reading, oral practice, writing

Chinese Language, Culture & Etiquette for Business (Level 2 - Advanced)
Course Dates: 14 Days - 12th, 19th, 26th September, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st October, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th November, 5th, 12th December

The objective of this course is to provide students with the fundamentals of the Chinese Language, the Chinese business culture, and professional language for doing business in China. The Advanced Chinese course will expand on the fundamentals of the Chinese language and provide participants with the more advanced professional language required for day to day activities in both business and daily life in China.
At the end of 14 weeks students have the option of taking the HSK test, will be able to hold a basic conversation, be able to introduce their company in Chinese, and have a working knowledge of Chinese business culture and etiquette.
Session 1: Review Chapters 1, & 2, oral practice, writing in Chinese
Session 2: Review Chapters 3 & 4, oral practice, writing
Session 3: Review Chapters 5 & 6, oral practice, writing
Session 4: Who is that? Sentence patterns and word substitution, oral practice, writing
