Dear Chamber Member,

I hope you, your families and colleagues are keeping safe and well.

It has been a welcome step of change to gain the freedom of movement across the county, and it is a wonderful benefit to us that our beautiful county offers such an abundance of natural beauty from the mountains to the sea.

We remain hopeful that the roll out of the vaccine programme can continue at an effective pace. However, in the meantime, it is essential that those of us who can work from home, continue to do so, and that the case numbers remain as suppressed as possible.

With a view to protecting our economic recovery, Government must now look to strengthening and extending the supports to businesses who continue to be affected by restrictions. An end date of June 30, 2021 for the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme and COVID-19 Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) must be extend through to 2022, along with a review of the grants, waivers and sectoral supports.

I hope to see you in the near future at one of our upcoming events as we continue to deliver content and provide networking opportunities for our Chamber members. More on events HERE.

I welcome you to contact me directly on 087-9471858 or by e-mail HERE to discuss any issues affecting your business. We are here to represent you.

Warm regards,

Conor Healy
