Energy Cork is delighted to be hosting the Energy Security in a Low Carbon Future conference, sponsored by Eirgrid Group, on Friday 17th May 2019 (8am – 1pm) at the Clayton Hotel, Lapp's Quay, Cork.

 

This Energy Cork conference will address the important and interdependent issues of ensuring energy security in a rapidly changing world and the pressing need for significant, timely and innovative climate action in the energy sector. The Energy Security in a Low Carbon Future Conference will be a half-day event featuring speakers from across the sector with views on how Ireland can achieve these two vital energy policy goals.

How do I register to vote?

To do this you must complete a Registration Form to be put on to the Register of Electors.

  • From now until May 7th this form will be the RFA2 Form.
  • This will allow you to join the Supplement to the Register.

Cork City & County Boundary Changes
 

Cork City Council and Cork County Council have launched a public awareness campaign aimed at the 85,000 citizens living in the parts of the county that are due to transfer to the city next month.

 

Areas such as Ballincollig, Blarney, Tower, Glanmire, Douglas, Donnybrook, Grange, Frankfield, Rochestown and Togher are to transfer from Cork County Council to Cork City Council on May 31st 2019.  An information leaflet highlighting the changes is being distributed to all households and businesses within the transfer area in the coming days.

The 200th Cork Chamber AGM took place on Monday April 29th. Paula Cogan was elected President and Richard Martin of RDJ assumed the position of Honorary Secretary.
