2021 Welcome

Dear Chamber Member,

From the Chamber team and myself, we would like to share best wishes for the year ahead.

With change as the only constant, we certainly have plenty to adapt to this January, but despite the current situation, we look ahead with confidence and optimism.

Today's announcement by Government of tighter restrictions is a challenge, nonetheless, we must stay the course and do all in our power to curb the spread of the virus across our communities. For those of us who are required to work from home, our efforts in restricting our contacts will help us move through this phase and allow for the reopening of our economy and society sooner. Our successes in suppressing the virus on previous occasions are testament to our determination and resilience. We know that we have what it takes.

The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement on which came into effect on Dec 31 gave welcome definition to many aspects, however there is still much to be ironed out in the coming weeks and months. Our team managing the Export Documentation Service have been preparing for the changes and are on hand to assist you with relevant queries you might have. This essential service can be contacted at our office on 021 4509044.

In line with Government regulations, we continue to deliver our Chamber services remotely, and we hope that you will join us at one of the many virtual events we have lined up for the weeks ahead.

Our Skillnet team have their 2021 training programme lined up which is running remotely to help you and your teams upskill and adapt to evolving business patterns.

I encourage your feedback and input as we embrace 2021 and welcome you to contact me at any time on 087 9471858 or via email HERE.

Warm regards,

Conor Healy
