This 3 day course, one of our more popular, is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, deliver, assess and evaluate training programmes. The main purpose of this programme is to provide candidates with the tools and techniques necessary to work in a supervisory management role in a wide variety of organisations by instructing them in key areas such as their roles and responsibilities, employment legislation, recruitment, performance management, data protection, operational planning and budgeting.
At the end of this programme, successful participants will be able to:
- List the roles and responsibilities of a supervisor/line manager;
- Analyse the process of staff recruitment;
- Identify the key areas of workplace legislation and best practice in staff supervision;
- List the main provisions of the Data Protection Act;

Coaching is about unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their performance.
This programme is designed to provide those with responsibilities for developing workplace competencies with the skills needed to develop individual performance in others. It is designed to create an understanding of the organisation and workplace context within which performance and individual career development takes place and it will provide the skills, knowledge and tools required to carry out effective coaching in the workplace.

(a) an exploration of the Co-Active Coaching model (course book provided);
