Cork Harbour Tourism Development Plan
As part of the Cork City, Harbour and East Cork Destination and Experience Development Plan, work is underway to discover the tourism potential of Cork Harbour and its surrounding areas. The new tourism strategy aims to make the most of the visitor potential of Cork Harbour through a sustainable lens, to support its communities and future development.
A public consultation is currently open to gather views on the draft strategy.

9 White Deer Celebrates SEAI Award Win
Harnessing supports to improve efficiencies
9 White Deer Brewery has been awarded the SEAI Small Business Award for 2025. It’s a brilliant achievement for a rural Cork SME that has made real progress on its sustainability journey.
The Ballyvourney microbrewery is a client of REEValue and of Enterprise Europe Network, two EU funded projects hosted by Cork Chamber. Through these supports, the brewery has advanced a targeted, engineering-led approach to reducing energy use, lowering emissions and improving efficiencies.
