Information Seminar on new Late Payment Directive

The European Commission is hosting an information seminar will give participants the opportunity to learn more about the application of the new Late Payment Directive (2011/7/EU), which is due to be transposed into Irish law by 16 March 2013. Every year across Ireland, thousands of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) go bankrupt waiting for their invoices to be paid. Its objective is to ensure the payment of business to business invoices within 60 days, and public authority to business invoices within 30 days.
