Air France to Paris-CdG

 

 

 

As of summer 2020, Air France will double its frequency on the Cork to Paris-Charles de Gaulle route, with the addition of a second daily service from April to October 2020.

 

The new service will further link the south of Ireland to Paris and provide connections to destinations throughout Europe and the world such as Budapest, Mexico City, and Rio de Janeiro.

Recognising Your Success
Building Resilient Communities - Chamber 1819 Fund

 

At the start of 2019, Cork Chamber launched a fundraising drive in partnership with Social Innovation Fund Ireland, inviting individuals and businesses to to donate to our 1819 Fund.

 

All funds raised will directly benefit Cork community initiatives with a social, environmental or economic impact, therefore building more resilient communities.

 

The fundraising closes Nov 15. Those wishing to contribute can contact Katherine Fitzpatrick at Cork Chamber on 021 450 9044.

Enterprise Europe Network Cork is pleased to share this upcoming opportunity for companies to participate in a business mission to the Newcastle/Teesside/Middlesbrough region of the UK. The mission is taking place over one day on Friday, 22nd November.

It will include an overview of the North East Business environment with specific information, business introductions and field visits focused on the following sectors:

Future Forms

What will Cork look like in 200 years’ time and what can we do to positively influence the Future Form of our city? 

That's the question that the Glucksman asked over 1,000 young people invited to take part in a creative project that actively sought their views and ideas about the urban environment that we live in.

 

Presented as part of the #CorkChamber200 celebrations, this short video shares their ideas.


Cork on Camera

 

As part of our 200 year celebrations, we are partnering with Cork Film Festival to bring you Cork on Camera on Saturday 16 November.

 

This compilation of Cork footage from the Irish Film Institute archive will be shown with live musical accompaniment. 

 

Cork Chamber has a limited number of free tickets available for members and friends.

Employee Survey on Remote Work in Ireland
 

The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation are conducting research on the topic of Remote Work in Ireland, they have published 2-minute anonymous survey as part of the Future Jobs Ireland's programme of activities. 

The purpose is to capture the perspectives of employees across all sectors, regardless of whether they work remotely or not.
