Cork Chamber Golf Classic 2013

The Golf Classic Event continues to offer fantastic value for money, with your entry fee including refreshments on arrival, an excellent goody bag, burgers at the 9th tee, as well as music, entertainment and a full BBQ later that evening. This year we will also run a “Beat the Pro” putting competition to add to the sense of fun and competition - always a great day out!

Networking Lunch on Board the Pont Aven

This popular annual event is held in association with the Ireland France Chamber of Commerce and is a unique day out, giving Cork Chamber members an opportunity to see what the Pont Aven ferry has to offer as well as a chance to entertain clients and colleagues on board this fantastic Brittany Ferries link to France. Your ticket price includes a pre-lunch “Apéritif” reception drinks reception in the bar and deck area of the ship, followed by a sumptuous luncheon cooked by the best of French chefs and served with a selection of French wines.

Cork Chamber is delighted to welcome Munster Head Coach Rob Penney to speak at the September Business Breakfast at the Fitzgerald Vienna Woods Hotel. Rob has been Head Coach of the Munster Rugby team since July 2012.
Originally from New Zealand, Rob was Head Coach of Canterbury from 2006 to 2012 and last season took them to their fourth straight ITM Cup national provincial title. This is a truly unique opportunity to hear the Head Coach of the Munster Rugby Team talk about what’s involved in motivating and invigorating a team, whether on the pitch or on the office floor.

How does SEPA Direct Debit work?
SEPA Direct Debit allows you to collect payments in euro from domestic and cross-border debtors throughout SEPA. SEPA Direct Debit brings with it a number of important business changes: - New file submission time frames
- New customer file formats
- New automated process for rejected/returned transactions
- Increased consumer protection rights
- International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Bank Identifier Code (BIC) will replace national sort codes and account number.

SMILE Resource Exchange is one of the 269 initiatives competing in The World You Like Challenge which sees the most creative minds from across the EU put their low-carbon innovations to the test. The public will be able to decide which ten European projects should go onto the next stage through an online vote.
