FREE GDPR Conference hosted by Seán Kelly MEP
Seán Kelly MEP will host a conference on the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 15th June 2018 in University College Cork.
As the new regulation will come into force on the 25th May, this timely event will be a great opportunity to learn about what GDPR will mean for Irish people and particularly how it will affect business dealings and online interactions moving forward.
Companies and individuals will be able to gain a better understanding of the significance of data governance, and how compliance presents opportunities, not just obligations. The importance of having the right strategies in place to ensure compliance continues once implemented will also be addressed. Speakers will include representatives from Irish companies, the Irish Government, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, and more.
Attendance is free but registration is essential. Please email sean.kelly@europarl.europa.eu to register your attendance.
