National Learning Network’s sixth annual Employer Recognition Awards will be held at 11.30 am on Friday 26th April in the River Lee Hotel, Western Road, Cork. Participating businesses in Cork will be presented with certificates of recognition by the President of the Cork Chamber of Commerce in relation to their partnership in providing workplace training opportunities for learners attending National Learning Network programmes. “The Awards event provides National Learning Network with an opportunity to promote the concept of supported learning in the workplace as an example of corporate social responsibility working hand in hand with experiential learning” says Eoin Kelly, Area Manager, National Learning Network. The Network is always on the lookout for businesses that promote corporate social responsibility or would like to increase their level of community involvement.
