Two Charities Benefit from Golf Classic
We hope all those who attend last weeks Annual Golf Classic in Association with VHI Healthcare enjoyed the day. There was some fantastic prizes up for grabs this year as well as a superb goody bag for each player. Many thanks to all of the companies who supported this event, by donating prizes and items for the goody bags. The Hole in One competition on 13th Hole was sponsored by Corporate Travel Management (CTM) and United Airlines. As we had no winner of the Hole in One, CTM & United kindly agreed to raffle off the prize, raising almost €1600 for charity. Two charities were picked out of “a hat” at the presentation and the fund will be split between them. The two benefitting charities are Breakthrough Cancer Research and Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. The format was a fourball scramble and the winning team was Egans Cork Silver, with a whopping score of 51.2. Check out the photo gallery here.
