Cork Chamber welcomes CoreHR Jobs Boost Announcement
Cork Chamber is delighted to welcome CoreHR’s announcement of a planned €40 million investment creating 300 jobs over the next 3 years across its locations in Cork, Kilkenny, Dublin and London.
 

In welcoming the announcement Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy commented, ‘such an investment is testament to the highly skilled team within CoreHR and the track record of the existing operations with today’s announcement reinforcing the strong commitment of CoreHR to the Cork region as 180 of the announced jobs are to be based at its Cork headquarters.  The announcement is truly reflective of the confidence placed by CoreHR across it’s Irish and UK operations and it is hugely positive to see CoreHR go from strength to strength over the next three years”.

  • Have a start, a middle & an end! Concise case studies on how you work your digital/social media will work well
  • Explain acronyms & internal metrics – keep it easy to understand
  • Give real metrics & actual numbers
  • Keep to the word count & put some work into each section. Judges don’t like to guess!
  • Treat each category as an independent entity and tailor your submission specifically

Cork Chamber is delighted to announce that the Golf Classic 2016 will take place on Thursday 8th September in Lee Valley Golf & Country Club in association with Vhi Healthcare.  The Golf Classic is a fourball scramble and always offers plenty of challenges as well as some great prizes to be won on the day. 


This competitive and fun annual event continues to offer fantastic value for money, with your entry fee including refreshments for you and your team on arrival, a full round of golf at the award winning Lee Valley Golf & Country Club, burgers at the 10th tee, as well as music, entertainment and a BBQ on the terrace later that evening.  You will also receive a goody bag and a chance to win some top-notch prizes – always a great day out!

Networking Lunch on Board the Pont Aven

This popular annual event is held in association with the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and is a unique day out, giving Cork Chamber members an opportunity to see what the Pont Aven ferry has to offer as well as a chance to entertain clients and colleagues on board this fantastic Brittany Ferries link to France.


Your ticket price includes a pre-lunch “Apéritif” reception drinks reception in the bar and deck area of the ship, followed by a sumptuous luncheon cooked by the best of French chefs and served with a selection of French wines. Places are Networking Lunch on Board the Pont Aven

SPACE 2016 – Livestock and agriculture brokerage event
 

Rennes (France), 14th -15th September 2016


An Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) brokerage event will take place at SPACE 2016 Livestock and Agriculture Show, an annual event which is at the forefront of France’s agriculture and livestock sector. 2016 marks the 30th edition of SPACE. In its first year, the show attracted 260 exhibitors and 32,000 visitors. In 2015, this figure stood at 1,446 exhibitors and 106,226 visitors. The accompanying EEN brokerage event this year will allow exhibitors and visitors to meet face-to-face and have pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings to discuss commercial or technology partnerships.

Rennes (France), 14th-15th September 2016

SPACE is aimed at international livestock professionals and international visitors can available of a free pass (obtainable here) to attend this year’s show which takes place in Rennes 13-16 September. The current exhibitor list includes over 1000 exhibitors from a representation of over 40 countries (see here).

If you are attending SPACE, why not avail of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)’s free brokerage event which will take place on 14 and 15 September? Companies attending the SPACE exhibition can have the opportunity to meet potential new commercial and technological partners during pre-scheduled 30 minute 1:1 meetings. The brokerage event is open to all SPACE exhibitors and international visitors from the livestock sector, with interest in animal feed, animal health, breeding, artificial insemination, hatcheries, farm buildings, farm equipment, farm waste, water treatment and agro-energy.
