Tourism companies invited to subscribe to the Sail Cool Route

Sail Cool Route is a European project which investigates all aspects of the practical logistics and business potential to establish a bi-directional yacht cruising route which spans from Cork to Western and Northern Ireland, and onwards to Western Scotland, the Faroe Islands and up to Western Norway. The Cool Route Superyacht and Small Liner Brochure outlines the many attractions of the historic seaway.

The project is currently building an online tool, linking local enterprises with their local marinas, pontoon or small ports. Enterprises can register free-of-charge and the tool, which is map-based, will direct enquiries, booking etc. to their own website's. It is intended for all types of enterprises who are operating in the tourism sector, i.e. restaurants, visitor centres, activities etc. Registration for the portal can be done here. Contact John McAleer for further information.
