Call for business certainty

Dear Chamber member,

Cork’s business community has and continues to play its part in protecting public health and supporting our national recovery. The gains to date have been hard-won by all and there is recognition that adjustments may have to be made to ensure business reopening is sustainable. Financial supports to businesses and employees have provided a lifeline to those employers and staff impacted by public health restrictions. However, as we face further delay on reopening, we look forward to the provision of clear timelines, certainty on business supports and the principles guiding Government decision-making.

We at the Chamber are very passionate about our city region and are proud to champion Cork as a great place to live, work and invest. Your experiences and perspectives are crucial to informing and shaping our agenda in that activity. Please share your views.

As summer unfolds, it is also incumbent upon us to support our local economy, in both our business and personal purchase decisions.
