National Tree Week 2025 takes place from 9th to 16th March, with Cork County Council offering native trees to schools, community groups and organisations to mark the occasion. National Tree Week is supported by the Tree Council of Ireland and requests for trees from Cork County Council must be submitted to corkheritage@corkcoco.ie by 28th February.
Cork City Council has launched two new community development grants, open to community groups seeking once-off programme grants or funding for community centre/building maintenance. Applications for the Cork City Council Small Scale Programme Grant 2025 and the Community Associations Capital Grants 2025 are open until 5th March.
