Decision on Event Centre Site is a Significant Boost for Cork

The Beamish and Crawford brewery site has been selected as the preferred site for a new multi-functional events centre for Cork. The planned €50m, 6,000 capacity event centre which will be located on South Main Street is expected to be a major economic driver for the city.

Speaking on the announcement Conor Healy, Cork Chamber CEO said, “We are delighted that Government and Cork City Council had the foresight to help fund the development of a multi-functional events centre in Cork which will have a hugely positive impact on the tourism and hospitality sectors and will serve as a key catalyst in Cork’s economic development in the short-term.”

Train Smarter with Educogym Cork. Fastest gym in the world to date for results in just 20 minutes.  Our special machine, the “Time Machine”, allows us to scientifically transform your shape, as well as develop real fitness and a strong, healthy body. The “Time Machine” saves time whilst getting a high level of intensity workout in just 20 minutes. This is not possible in a normal gym as 50% of the time is wasted going from one machine to another and waiting for it to become available.

We do not have more than four people to each of our machines at any one time slot and our trainers will show you how to carry out each exercise and explain the benefits of each of the exercises.

All our sessions are personal training, offering tailor-made training & nutritional
programmes that achieve outstanding results. We have programmes to suit every one, of all shapes and sizes and our clients range in age from 15 years to 73 years. We are the only gym in the world with a university researched 12-day transformation programme. Our exclusive Educogym University research carried out in 2006 has shown that Educogym results over a 12 day period and a total of four hours of weight training, i.e.: 20 minutes daily, were on average, a gain of 3 pounds of muscle and a loss of 7.5 pound of fat. This change of nearly one pound a day would be enough to literally transform the average person's body. Our amazing results can be viewed on our website: http://educogymcork.ie/the-results
