Would your business be willing to take part in the ‘Job Shadow day’?
‘COPE  Foundation is launching the ‘Job Shadow Day Initiative’ on Wednesday the 24th of April as part of the National Job Shadow week in conjunction with the Irish Association Of Supported Employment. Participants explore the world of work by ‘ shadowing’ someone in their workplace. The ‘Job Shadow Initiative’ is designed to give people a unique opportunity to explore the world of work and learn about job requirements and employer expectations.

Employers will gain an increased understanding of the talent represented by job seekers with disabilities and how these workers can meet their staffing needs.COPE Foundation invites the Cork business community to join us in our campaign to promote equal employment opportunities in the workplace. Would your business be willing to take part in the ‘Job Shadow day’?  If you would like to get involved please contact Marian Hennessy at hennessym@cope-foundation.ie or phone 021-4643160 for further information.
