Little Island Traffic Consultation

Advance Works on N22 Underway
Advance Works on the N22 Baile Bhuirne/Macroom Project are progressing very well with excellent progress being made. The upgraded section of the N22 will ultimately bypass both Macroom and Ballyvourney/Ballymakeera, extending from Coolcour, east of Macroom to Slievereagh ,west of Ballyvourney. Advance Works are being carried out in anticipation of future funding for the Main Works and remain on track for completion by Quarter 1 of 2018. The biggest marine renewable energy conference in the world, European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC), takes place in University College Cork this year from August 28th to September 2nd. It provides attendees with a perfect forum for knowledge transfer and debate at the cutting edge of marine renewable energy technology. Are you looking for German food and drink buyers?
ANUGA is the world’s largest trade-fair for food and drink products and it takes place in Cologne, Cork’s sister city, this October, 7th to 11th. ANUGA will attract approx. 160,000 visitors and more than 7,000 exhibitors. In line with this, Enterprise Europe Network is hosting a pre-ANUGA buyer-producer event entitled ‘Tour d’Europe’ on Friday, 6th October. Tour d’Europe will focus on organising face-to-face buyer-producer meetings, based on specific requests from German buyers. Participating in the pre-ANUGA matchmaking event is free-of-charge. Travel and accommodation costs are at participants’ own expense.
