On Tuesday July 12th, the official launch of The Global Startup Gathering 2016 takes place at Cork Airport. The launch will welcome leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship, expert speakers and panelists, as well as an overview of upcoming events.
Due to take place in Cork from the 18th to the 20th of November, The Global Startup Gathering 2016 celebrates both national and international startup culture and innovation. The programme of events will include debate and discussions, pitches, workshops, hackathons and world-renowned guest speakers.
With over 1,000 visitors expected to attend the event in Cork, the weekend provides an exciting opportunity to network with entrepreneurs and innovators from the international startup community.
Cork Innovates are the local coordinators of the event, working to highlight Cork and Ireland as a global startup hub. Cork Innovates comprises twelve of the most influential organisations in Cork, one of which is Cork Chamber, who collaborate to support entrepreneurship, innovation and business.
