Creative Europe Desk Ireland Free Information Seminar on EU Culture Projects, Triskel Arts Centre, Cork, 20th August 2014
The Creative Europe Desk Ireland – Culture Office is hosting a free information seminar and application workshops on EU Culture Projects on 20 August. The event will take place in the Triskel Arts Centre. Representatives from the Creative Europe Desk in Dublin will be in attendance, along with practitioners who have first-hand experience of developing and running EU-funded culture projects. The event will provide technical assistance and practical advice to attendees, as well as offer networking opportunities.
If your organisation plans to apply to the Creative Europe Programme, you can register for a one-to-one meeting during the application clinics which will take place at the seminar. These meetings are intended for organisations which are at a relatively advanced stage in the development of an application to the Creative Europe programme. ‘Relatively advanced stage’ refers to organisations who have already confirmed project partners and who have initiated the process of compiling application forms.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Regional Investment, Brussels, Belgium, 24th September 2014
A seminar entitled ‘Aligning Regional Investment to Digital Enablers for Future Growth’ will take place in Brussels on 24 September. The seminar will discuss how ICT’s potential as a major contributor and enabler of growth and jobs can be best primed to drive economic and regional development, and how synergies might accordingly be created with European Structural and Investment Funds and other financing sources.
