CIT launch Certificate in Capital Markets to support the growth of financial services and funds industry in the Cork region

CIT is pleased to announce the launch of a new short part-time evening programme, Certificate in Capital Markets, to support the growth of financial services and funds industry in the Cork region. The programme will commence on 29th January 2018 and will be delivered over one academic semester (January - May), two evenings per week for 12 weeks. Application closing date is 15th January 2018.
Cork has established itself as a top class location for International Financial Services. Cork is now Ireland’s second-largest financial services hub with a full lifecycle of financial services from back office processing to fund administration and asset management operations resident in Cork (http://www.connectingcork.ie/). CIT’s new programme aims to support “Connecting Cork” with the further growth of financial services and funds industry in the Cork region.
The programme will focus on developing the fundamental and practical knowledge that recent graduates will need to work in capital markets, treasury funds, and the financial sector. The programme will be of interest to numerate graduates from finance and non-finance disciplines and professionals currently working or seeking employment in capital markets and the financial services area generally.
