On the 24^th of May, the IMI will be bringing its Masterclass Series to Cork.  This unique and innovative series gives access to the best international thought leaders on organisations, leadership, management and people through the sharing of “next practice” ideas.  We are delighted to announce that we have arranged for 30 tickets for Cork Chamber members at no cost but on a first come first serve basis. 

In this first Masterclass session in Cork, one of the world's leading leadership and management thinkers, Manfred Kets de Vries, will deliver an impactful session to help you better understand the dynamics of leadership, teams, and organisational culture.

Cork Chamber is delighted to partner with the Port of Cork to bring you a night of networking in their historic building.

The Port of Cork is the key seaport in the south of Ireland which owns and operates facilities in Cork City Quays, Tivoli, Ringaskiddy and Cobh.  The Port of Cork’s cruise business has gone from strength to strength with a total of 58 liners visiting Cork during 2016. This high number of calls brought over 127,000 passengers and crew to the region.

We hope you can join us and hear from the Port of Cork as they plan their move from Cork City Quays and Tivoli to Ringaskiddy.

Cork Chamber will join forces with Business in the Community for the May Business Breakfast event, which will feature a panel of business leaders, provide best practice examples on responsible & sustainable business practices.

UCC Food Institute and UCC Teagasc Food Alliance will host the Food Matters Live industry briefing, in association with Taste Cork, Cork Chamber, CIT and Bord Bia on Thursday, 25^th May. The briefing is designed for food companies interested in the UK market and will cover the topics of food trends and consumer insights, retail and market opportunities, and education and industry collaboration. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect across Europe in May 2018 and in many ways will be equivalent in scale and scope to the implementation of Health & Safety regulations in the latter half of the 20th century - Data Protection Commissioner Helen Dixon believes the way we do business will never be the same again.
