Speed Networking is a more structured form of networking where each side gets just 1½ minutes to pitch their business and make connections for both buying and selling before the bell rings and you meet a new person.

This is a practical event for SMEs, giving you an excellent opportunity to hone your elevator pitch and make genuine new business contacts as well as receive referrals and renew existing connections.

Innovate UK (the UK’s innovation agency), in association with Cork Chamber, would like to invite UK and Irish companies to an informative seminar to learn more about the latest innovation, research and opportunities in the natural, free-from food sector in Ireland. To this end, presentations will be delivered by experts from Atlantia Food Clinical Trials, CyberColloids and CAPPA Centre.

 

The attending innovative UK food and drink companies (see profiles here) are keen to have 1:1 meetings with Irish food manufacturers, distributors, sustainable packaging providers and logistics providers.

2018 PSYCHED Certificate of Recognition - Closing date Friday
 

PSYCHED stands for Positive Support You Can Have Every Day and this Mental Health Promotion Award Scheme is an initiative of Cork Healthy Cities, supported by the Health Service Executive, University College Cork and Cork City Council.  The Award Scheme will celebrate efforts made in workplaces across Cork to support the mental well-being of staff, and is aimed at making Cork a Mental Health Promoting City.  Closing date for applications is Friday March 9th 2018.

Cork Chamber welcomes the opening of Keeper Security’s first European office in Cork city centre, adding 50 new jobs to the city’s thriving cyber security sector.

Brendan has 25 years of experience in the Local Government Sector and since taking up his role as Chief Executive in 2002 his primary focus has been on business development, planning port infrastructure, and the delivery of higher levels of efficiency and quality throughout the Port.
