Reduced bus fares in Cork suburbs

From the 1st of December adult Bus Éireann fares in Cork suburbs dropped to €2.70(cash)/€1.89(leap). Just in time for local shopping!

The Chamber has lobbied extensively for reduced fares that recognise the realities of commuting patterns and to encourage increased use of public transport by all members of the community.

The new Red Zone will include Carrigaline, Ballincollig, Cork Airport, Glanmire, Carrigtwohill, Monkstown, Ringaskiddy, Crosshaven, Fountainstown…..details of all routes are here

An Adult can now travel from Carrigaline to UCC for €2.70 (cash fare) or €1.89 (Leap Fare).  The new Leap Fares apply to Students/Child U19/School Child also.

Check out the taxsaver leaflet which shows the savings to be made when joining the scheme for point to point tickets and Leap Card Red Zone Monthly Product.

Christmas late night busses start from this Friday 8th December, more details here
