Workplace Mental Health Promotion - 21st February

Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

PSYCHED is an initiative of Cork Healthy Cities. This collaboration comprises of the Health Services Executive (Health Promotion and Improvement, Health Action Zone and Mental Health Psychology Service in Cork) Cork City Council, University College Cork and community workplace partners. We want workplaces to get PSYCHED about mental health and wellbeing!

We invite workplaces to get involved by sharing good practice, ideas and workplace initiatives that support the mental wellbeing of their staff.

PSYCHED aims:

1.    To stimulate conversations in the workplace leading to a better understanding of mental health

2.    To encourage employers to engage with staff to promote and foster mental health in the workplace by setting goals for positive improvement

3.    To celebrate commitment, good practice and innovation in mental health promotion in the workplace through participation in the 2018 PSYCHED awards.

Our goal:

To promote better mental health in workplaces across Cork city, an initiative which we hope will result in more understanding and reduced stigma towards mental illness in our wider community.
