Please see the below weather warning as issued by Cork City Now.
 



Today, Thursday, October 19:
Continued heavy rain MAY result in localised surface flooding. Cork City Council crews have been deployed to address each reported location. Cork City Council would again like to advise motorists to exercise caution. There is No tidal flooding expected this evening or tonight.

 

Friday, October 20:
Heavy rainfall expected throughout the day. Cork City Council would again like to advise motorists to exercise caution.There is a minor risk of flooding at Morrisons Island, South Terrace and Wandesford Quay from 5.30pm  - 7.30pm  due to high tides.
The situation will continue to be monitored and another update will issue tomorrow morning after 11am. It is expected that the main impact of any tidal flooding will only be on traffic. 

 

Saturday, October 21:
 

Status orange wind alert is in place from midnight. People should travel with care because many trees and buildings remain damaged and unstable following Hurricane Ophelia. Heavy rain MAY result in localised surface flooding. Cork City Council would again like to advise motorists to exercise caution. No tidal flooding expected on Saturday.
